Year 1 have had a lovely afternoon celebrating the WW1 Centenary. We discussed the significance of the WW1 Centenary, we asked and answered questions about the past, we completed a finger painting of a poppy field and we also did some WW1 colouring. Take a look at our photos below . .

Year 1 have just started to learn about algorithms. Today they were given the same algorithms to construct a crazy character. All the children followed the instructions but because they were not precise enough all the children’s work was very different from each other. Algorithms have to be precise.
Year one have had a fantastic day at the farm today! We have been very busy petting animals in the petting barn and walking around the farm.
