This week Year 3 will have an unplugged lesson (teaching Computer Science through engaging games). The children will understand how a basic school computer network works. This will involve a switch, cards, string and a server. Pictures to follow!
Year 3 learning this term is all about the WWW and networks. The children will understand the terminology 'computer network' (a group of two or more computers linked together). They will also investigate wired and wireless networks and how and why we have email.
After a fantastic year with every class, working hard and creating many happy memories the children will have an afternoon of freetime.
