During Forest School after school club we had a delivery of tyres from 'Parkers Tyres and Autocare' (190 Rochdale road behind Middleton Cars). Steve very kindly donated and delivered the tyres to school for use by Reception class. Watch this space to see what Reception class do with them. Thanks again to Steve.
Forest school after school club was rather wet this afternoon, but it did not stop the children being busy. They all had fun working together, pulling up the weeds from the flower bed ready for planting .
The children and staff enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day in the beautiful sunshine. The United Kingdom were the winning team well done to all the children on that team. The children have really enjoyed learning about Australia as part of our Geography, English, DT and Science topics!
This week the children designed, created and evaluated a simple boomerang!

Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic day at Blackpool Zoo!
We had great fun learning about a range of different animals from all around the world!
The children especially enjoyed the interactive talk with a Zoo leader which was all about Australian animals!
