Reception class visited Build a Bear today.
The children choose the fur, added the stuffing, each child added a heart . The bear was then sewn up and dressed in a school uniform. Finally he was named, given a birth certificate and brought back to school .

Today Year 3 were lucky enough to have a session with Hugh Templeton. Hugh is an artist and taught us how to use water colours to create an effective cave painting.
We drew our stone age scene in pencil and then used water colours to give the effect that it had been painted on a cave wall.

This term Year 3 have been studying the topic of the stone age.
We have made some fantastic pots that we were able to sell during enterprise week.
We used clay and water to make the pots and used fossils and things we might find in the woods to create interesting patterns on them.
The children in Year 2 have been learning about the United Kingdom with a focus on London. We have researched a range of iconic and significant London buildings and locations.
The children spent time designing and building a range of their favourite places!

To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday Reception Class worked hard learning about the Queen and British values. They enjoyed a party lunch with the rest of the school and an afternoon of fun and games.
Very pleased to announce our school has taken delivery of a XYZ Printing da Vinci Junior 3D Printer. A great machine that allows children and novices to create and print out school topic models, iPad stands and fossils to name a few.
