Amazing day with the NSPCC who came into school today and taught the children how to keep safe both online and in real life. Workshops, assemblies, class discussions and even an invaluable parent workshop. Please visit their website. Thank you.
Year 6 used the Middletonia site to research Victorian Middleton. We looked at the Middleton timeline and researched a little about Middleton Parish School. The children took a real interest in a story about Canky (Kanky) Ginnel in Middleton, so we watched a great video that explained it so well from Martin Zero. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWxAAEeO8IM
Excited that all St John Fisher children are taking part in The World's Largest Lesson this week. Working together to educate young people about how they can learn about the U.N. sustainable development goals. The children will be learning about Goal Number 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production and Goal Number 13 – Climate Action.
