Year 6 visited the Greater Manchester Recycling Centre at Wythenshawe. We learnt about how the amazing machinery is designed to sort different plastics, paper, glass and metal.
Year 6 visited the Greater Manchester Recycling Centre at Wythenshawe. We learnt about how the amazing machinery is designed to sort different plastics, paper, glass and metal. Did you know they use magnets, crushers, cyclones and even infrared lasers! After seeing the machines in action, we played games and talked about the importance of putting the right stuff in the right bin.
