• Year 5 - Poet Laureate
  Year 5 had a wonderful poetry workshop this morning at Middleton Library with Rochdale’s poet laureate, Sammy Weaver. They explored creatures in nature and wrote a poem about an animal or plant and how it thrives in the natural world. Well done year 5!
• Reception Class - RE
  Reception looked at mustard seeds and talked about how they grow in to strong mustard plants just like their faith will grow stronger and help them to do great things.
• Year 2 Maths
  Year 2 are doing a great job at memorising their 2 times tables
• Year 2 School Trip
  Year 2 had a wonderful day aboard the Remembrance narrowboat in Preston!
• Reception Class - Forest School
  Reception Class enjoyed their forest school session exploring, playing games and looking for animal tracks
• Year 1 Library Visit
  Today Year 1 visited our local library, we looked at lots of different books and even took some back to school to read. We also learned some interesting facts about the library. Did you know that Middleton Library has 16,532 books!
• Year 3 Sponsored Event
  Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed the activities during their sponsored event. A huge thank you to all our families for the generous contributions raised.
• Year 5 - Science Lesson
  In Year 5 we have been investigating the effect of air resistance on falling objects by making parachutes of different sizes and timing how long it takes for the object to fall to the ground.

• Cake & Coffee Afternoon
  A huge thank you to all of our children and their wonderful families for your donations and support with our cake and coffee afternoon. We have been raising money for the Springhill Hospice.
